The 3D printer has launched and reached the International Space Station (ISS) today with an early morning docking. I woke up and watched the launch live on NASA TV, pretty amazing. It was a clear night and I hoped to see it from the Atlanta area, but I guess I was just a bit too far. Having followed the company for over a year now I felt a little sense of ownership watching the project progress. Of course the project is far from over, just getting the printer there was not the goal, now the fun stuff begins! Stay tuned for more updates about the great people at Made In Space!
