Caught this great little piece from Climate Desk that talks about the environmental benefits of 3D printing. There really are some cool benefits:
- You print exactly what you need, no more, no less
- Print on demand with no excess inventory to dispose of
- Print on location with no CO2 from transport
If filament can be made in an environmentally friendly method like Filabot, manufacture could be local, instant, customized and environmentally friendly. Can’t ask for much more than that!
