3D Recycling with Filabot

This technology is totally cool.  Filament can be expensive, usually $30/kg or more and yet we throw away pounds of plastic soft drink bottles and other plastic containers daily.  What sense does that make?  This technology being developed by Filabot  will let you recycle these items to make your own filament.  They are funding this through things like Kickstarter and donations, but we see this as a worthy effort worth supporting.  They test their filament by printing bottle openers and I purchased a monogrammed one to show my support!  I hope some of you will do the same.  Watch the video below or go to their site for more info:
