PLA printer seeks STP file for mutually beneficial relationship.

MakeXYZ (http://www.makexyz.com/) is a great place where you can search for a private contractor to print your 3D file or pick from a catalog and have it printed near you.  This is a great way for individuals to list their printers for hire.  Also, those who need something printed can have it done locally if you don’t want to purchase a device or have a Staples or other business offering the service.

“The founders have been careful to keep prices low. They are based on the design’s volume and generally range from 25 cents to $1.50 per cubic centimeter. Shapeways’ services start at around $0.75/cm3. Makexyz tacks on a 5 percent charge for its services, so most print jobs cost about $15.” according to a recent Design News article.

A quick search in my local area of Atlanta found about a dozen printers near me.  Have a printer, go ahead and get it listed, you might be able to get some work for it!
