Maybe you’ve bought a print of a favorite painting.  It’s of course not the original, but it looks beautiful in your home.  Maybe 3D printing could provide the same thing for sculpture?  One of the first examples I’ve seen of this is the art of Judith Klausner who has sculpted Oreo cookies of all things!  Through her website you can actually buy 3D printed replicas of the work which are sculpted in the cream of the Oreo.  These cookies are amazing and 3D printing is a great way to get the work out where more people can enjoy it.
