It’s Friday and I thought it would be a good day to take care of some updates and loose ends from previous articles:
- You may remember the article that we wrote about 3D printing and the Olympics where we focused on paralympic athlete Martin Fleig. Martin managed a best finish of 6th place and you can view all his results here.
- We also wrote about NASA’s new spacesuit and the results are in! Speaking of space, our buddies at Made In Space are making great progress as evidenced by this experiment plan posted on NASA’s site. We hear there may be a big announcement from Made in Space about 3D printing in space becoming a reality in the next few weeks.
- We’ve written about great toys to get kids excited in engineering and Hasbro recently showed off a stunning example of work with their DohVinci printer during a product preview at SNAP Conference.
- Finally, there was the engineering movie tournament. The winner was the awesome Apollo 13!
