Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham now uses 3D printing to simplify his process of making new characters. Rather than using silicone molds, Jeff can simply make a clay model, scan it and hit print to make the final product out of the material of his choice. This is yet another example of how 3D printing can be used on finished goods, not just prototypes, and save time. In the video above you get a quick peak at the new puppet 3D printed puppet, Achmed Jr. You can also read more about Jeff as well as get more info on his complete Bio Channel documentary “Jeff Dunham – Birth of a Dummy” which talks extensively about 3D printing at http://www.biography.com/people/jeff-dunham-20682855.
