The new Amazon Fire Phone and the video above demonstrating the “dynamic perspective” immediately had me thinking of 3D printing applications.  The way you could design, modify and check models could be revolutionary.  The 4 face tracking cameras could easily also be reapplied for fast 3D scanning.  Will developers embrace it or will it just be a 3D doorway to all things Amazon?  Still to early to tell if Fire Phone will be a hit or a flop, but it sure is filled with potential.
